I must confess I was intrigued by a book entitled Let them Eat Dirt – it sounds interesting, it sounds like it might be a bit crazy, and I was not disappointed on the interesting part – though it definitely isn’t crazy! As a bit of background my husband and I have very different opinions about certain things. One of these things is about germs.
It’s been ages since I have shared the books we have loved so I thought it was about time I did one! This month has been a bit spooky already – getting in the spirit for Halloween I think! I will be sharing some of the best Halloween themed books for toddlers next week so keep an eye out for that! But here are the books we’ve read this month.
I feel like we haven’t read as much this month as normal as we have spent as much time as we could outside enjoying the lovely weather we have had for the last half of the month. We have still done a bit of reading though so here are the books we’ve read July 2016.
Boo has been very lucky on the book front this month and has had lots and lots of new books to read! Two fab books that she was lucky enough to get were ‘The Dinosaur that Pooped Daddy and The Dinosaur that Pooped a Rainbow. As you can probably imagine Boo found them both hilarious!
As you can probably tell we are all huge fans of books and reading in our house. My husband and I love to have physical copies of books though we do both love our Kindles too. Boo loves reading too and we already bought her a few personalised books and I think they are just the best gift idea.
So when Love2Read got in touch and asked if I would like to have a look at their site to choose a personalised book that Boo could give to her daddy for Father’s Day I took one look and fell in love with the idea. They are just great – there are so many different styles to choose from so there is something which could be given as a gift from children’s of all ages.
