We have had a long weekend together as a family as my husband has taken some time off work for his birthday. On Sunday afternoon we went for a lovely walk to explore a new part of Cannock Chase that we had never been to before, and I actually remembered my camera so I thought I would share a few my favourite photos from our walk.
It was such a lovely day, nice and warm without being too hot and there as a lovely breeze too. We parked at one of our usual carparks but instead of heading down towards the stream as we usually do we headed up towards this large field and then in to the woods. Read More…
It’s the summer and it’s a great chance to get out and enjoy the sunshine. But as much as it’s nice to go out to places, like the zoo etc it’s also nice to have days out that are free – or cost very little money. So I have compiled a list of things that Boo and I do that are free! (or nearly)
This week we visited the lovey Ash End House Children’s Farm, it was a beautiful sunny day and we had a fantastic time. I was really impressed – the activities were lots of fun and Boo was delighted with all of the animals. She was so brave when feeding the goats and so gentle when stroking the tiny chicks and the bunnies.
When we arrived we looked at the activity board and headed straight for the ponies – Boo has never seen a horse or a pony up close before so I did wonder how she would react. (more…)
