I am carrying on with my review of our fantastic at Bluestone, in Pembrokshire, Wales – so if you missed Part One you can check it out here! I got as far as sharing my thoughts on the Ramsey Lodge we stayed in, in my post yesterday – and today is all about the amazing stuff you can get up to at Bluestone without having to leave the site! (Though I have to say Pembrokeshire is a truly beautiful place – and there are lots of amazing places to visit near to Bluestone too!)

I know that I have shared lots of photos from our holiday at Bluestone on social media last week but today it’s time for, Part One at least, of our adventures are Bluestone in Pembrokeshire, Wales. There was simply so much to do and there is so much to write about that I will be splitting my review up over a few posts. The week before last I had a wonderful and very surprising email asking me if I would like to spend 4 nights at Bluestone – from the 11th April to the 15th April. I was over the moon – though the short notice meant a quick phone call to my husband to check that he could actually get the time off work!

Luck was on our side though, and so we spent the rest of the week planning, packing and headed off on a rainy Monday morning for a long car journey.  Boo is not very good in the car – well she hasn’t been up until now – but I have to say that she was amazing both on the way there and on the way back It took us about 5 hours to get there on Monday – traffic wasn’t too bad – we had a couple of traffic jams, a couple of tractors and lots and lots of torrential rain!

This week we have been at Bluestone in Pembrokeshire, Wales. We found out we were going to be lucky enough to go and stay for 4 nights last Tuesday! An impromptu holiday! It was a lovely surprise and I was so happy when my husband could get the time off.  We had a busy weekend getting packed and headed off on the Monday to stay until Friday.

I can’t believe I haven’t written more about Denmark! I lived there for over a year and my husband is Danish.  It’s a truly beautiful country and there are so many places to go and things to do – but I thought I would share my top five things to do in Denmark on the peninsula of Jutland. We are planning our next visit over there, and Boo’s first visit over there. So there is a lot to think about and we probably won’t be able to stay over there as long as we would like – so planning is essential so we don’t miss out anything we really want to do.

5 things to do in Denmak - sharing 5 amazing things to do in Denmark on the Jutland Peninsula

There really is so much to see and do in Denmark. Denmark is made up of a peninsula Jutland (Jylland) which shares a border with German, and then two large islands Zealand (Sjaelland) or Funen (Fyn). (and millions of tiny islands too!) We lived on the peninsula of Jutland when I lived over there, and it’s where my husband spent a lot of his childhood (he was born in Denmark, moved to Canada as a baby and then moved back to Denmark when he was 10).  So here’s some of my favourite things to do in Denmark and some things I really can’t wait to do!
