We have been doing so many crafts this month – and both Boo and I have had a great time. The theme for this month’s Bostik Bloggers box was Garden’s and Mini Beasts – two things which Boo love so we were feeling very inspired, and the activities I had planned really kept Boo’s attention. The first garden themed craft we have been up to is making our very own indoor mini beast garden.

It’s really quick and easy to do and I think it looks great – Boo loves to rearrange her little garden and make her pompom butterfly and bee fly around it.  She loved sticking the pompoms and googly eyes on her mini beasts too – though the pipe cleaners shapes were a bit tricky for her so I did those. We now have millions of pipe cleaner animals and Boo always asks me to help her make them – though some look more like the animals they are supposed to be than others!

Her favourite bit of making her Mini Beast Garden was the scrunching up of the tissue paper mud and grass for step 1, it never seems quite crumpled enough so she was there for ages, scrunching it up and flattening it out again only to ball it up again! At least she had fun!

The Blu Tac really helped to keep the flowers in the right place, though it doesn’t have to be the white Blu Tac.  The base part of the stem helped give me something to fix the blue tac too and that part was hidden under the tissue paper.  As always the Bostik white glu is great for just about anything!

I hope you like our Mini Beast Garden. You can see our dragon themed crafts from last month here if you missed them.

Have you been up to any crafts this month?

We were sent a box of craft materials to complete this challenge as part of the #BostikBlogger campaign with Tots100.
