This isn’t the clearest photo I have ever shared for Living Arrows but it’s already one of my favourites. And I just had to share for Living Arrows 51 this week. On Thursday of last week Boo had her very first Nativity. I was so proud of her, she had a great time and was so happy that her mummy and her grandma were there to watch her. Unfortunately my husband had something on at work he couldn’t reschedule, but we sent him the photos and when he got home Boo sang some of the songs for him!
Boo goes to nursery two mornings a week and she only started at her new nursery when we moved house in November. It was really wonderful for me to see how she is at nursery with the lovely ladies who look after her and with all of the other children. I was expecting Boo to get a bit fidgety as she doesn’t like to sit still at home. But she sang all of the songs and sat so nicely for the whole time. She even did a little dance when it was her turn to stand up (she, and two other little girls were Christmas Trees).
I just love how excited she is in this photo, and it was so wonderful to hear all the children singing. But it’s a strange one, the nursery/school nativity… it was so lovely to watch her, but I do feel a little sad as my little baby has reached another milestone and it really feels like time is going too fast. This Christmas has come round way too quick and even though Boo is only just turned 3 this will be her 4th Christmas.
Please excuse the blurriness and the cropping!

The theme for this month’s Bostik Bloggers was Snow, which is just lovely. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that we get some snow over the winter. I thought a 3D snow themed picture would be fun to make with Boo. We squeezed in as many snowy things as we could in to our 3D Snow Picture. A snow man, clouds, and some falling snow. Boo wanted to add a starry sky (she is obsessed with space right now) and i think it works really well!
Coming up to Christmas I have realised that there are lots of things that fall in to the category of ‘toddler essentials for Christmas’. Those things that really are invaluable but that don’t occur to you (until it’s too late). I thought I’d share my list – in the hope that I am not the only one!
There are so many items on my ‘must have’ list for when my husband and I decide where we actually want to live and buy a house of our own. One of the most important things for me is that perfect exterior and, obviously windows and doors play a big part in that. Both my husband and I love the idea of wood windows, and as with any large purchase we would want to make sure we am making the best decision…
Thinking about replacing your windows? How much do you actually know about the options available? Windows are an integral part of the way your home looks and feels, but we often spend so little time thinking about which ones will add the most value and how best to maintain them.
The Wood Window Alliance has put together these simple myth busters to give you the facts about modern windows. Read More…
I can’t believe I am writing this post already. It doesn’t seem that long ago she was a tiny newborn, and then enjoying her first Christmas at 2 weeks old. It really does seem like the past 3 years have flown by. And here we are, her 3rd birthday, my little baby is now a little person, with a very big personality! She is the happiest, cheekiest, most adorable little girl (and I am not biased at all!)
