My daughter is currently scooter mad, since we have moved house she has been able to scooter to and from nursery most days which she loves (though it means we have to leave a bit earlier than we would as for some reason it always takes us a bit longer when we have the scooter with us!) My daughter’s current scooter is a three wheeled Frozen inspired scooter which she loves but since seeing the older children on their two wheel scooters she has been asking for one of those!
So when Skates.co.uk got in touch and asked if I would like to review one of their products I was immediately drawn to their range of scooters. there was so much choice. I really liked the JD Bug Junior Street Scooter which is suitable for children aged 4 and up, which is perfect as my daughter turned 4 earlier this week. It weighs only 2.3kg which makes it nice and light for younger children.
The JD Bug Junior Street Scooter comes in a great range of colours, Silver, Matt Black, Sky Blue, Red Glow Pearl, Pastel Pink, Reflex Blue and of course Purple Matt which was the colour I chose. I was tempted by the Sky Blue and the Pastel Pink but as my daughter’s balance bike is pink and her current scooter is white and blue, I thought the purple would be a nice change.
The scooter arrived folded in it’s box but it is incredibly easy to set up, simply a couple of clicks and voila! The handles themselves are lovely squashy foam and they too click in to place really easily. The break is sturdy which is great for avoiding crashes! The handle bar is adjustable so as your child grows you can extend the handles, meaning that this scooter has a lot of life in it.
I am really impressed with the quality of the JD Bug Junior Street Scooter and I was amazed at how quickly it arrived from Skates.co.uk. Skates.co.uk have a huge range of products which have next day delivery which is great for last minute Christmas pressies. I will definitely be using Skates.co.uk again – and I am just as impressed with the JD Bug Junior Street Scooter as I am with the Ice Skates we purchased for our daughter from Skates.co.uk last year – if you fancy a peak at that review you can see it here.
We were sent a JD Bug Junior Street Scooter in Purple Matt free of charge. All opinions and words are my own. Some photos used with permission from Skate.co.uk.
