I love getting personalised things for Boo, they just add a bit of something special. We have all sorts of things but one of my favourite personalised things is The Snowman and The Snowdog book by Penwizard.
I jumped at the chance to review this book, I have fond memories of The Snowman from my childhood and this is going to be perfect for Boo’s Book Advent Calendar I am making her for this year (I have already decided that it will be the one we open on her birthday).
What makes this book unique is that not only is your child’s name there, on the cover and in the book itself, but you also alter the way the character that represents your child looks. There are so many options, including boy or girl, hair styles and colour, skin colour, glasses and clothing too.
You can check out all of the options on the Penwizard Website – the options really are endless. I was really happy with the way that we got Boo’s character to look. She is just so cute!
I love that there are so many different options, so you can really make a character that looks similar to your child. It’s such a wonderful touch, and it makes this book so very special. It really is personalised!
The book comes in both paperback and hardback, we have the hardback one and it is beautiful. The quality of the printing and the paper really is fantastic.
As well as personalising the name and the way the character looks you can also have a short message printed in the front of the book, which is another wonderful touch and really does make the book your child’s.
I think this makes the perfect Christmas present with The Snowman theme, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.
The hardback version of the book which we received costs £24.99 which is more than I normally pay for books, but this is something more, it is a keepsake and I think that The Snowman and The Snowdog book is worth this and more. A softback version of the book is available for £17.99
Boo has had a look at the book (I know, very naughty as it’s a present) and she was so very impressed, she loves the illustrations and wouldn’t let me put it away
