I was very excited when we were offered tickets to attend The Baby Show at the NEC – I had never been to The Baby Show before (or the NEC) so as you can imagine I jumped at the chance.  And I am so glad we went.  We had a really fantastic day.

I have to say, entering the Hall I was really impressed by the sheer quantity of the exhibitors but also by the quality of the exhibitors.  So big names that I recognised but also some smaller, newer brands that were great to discover. The Baby Show 2 (prof. photo)

My only regret is that I didn’t take more photos – I am truly terrible at this and always forget on days out to take photos and then I either remember at the last minute or too late! But I managed to get a couple and I have, thankfully, got hold of some of the amazing professional photos that were taken of the day.

We decided to start off with a wander round so that we could have a nosey at the exhibits and after a rest (well for the hubby and I – Boo charged round the wonderful soft play area they had set up) we then did a bit of shopping. I must confess I do love shopping and I not only had to look out for things for Boo, but also things for my nephew who is due in July.  So much shopping!

We probably spent too much time looking at the Stokke stand – and why not, everything on there was fab! I fell in love with the Stokke Crusi all over again and really regret not getting one for Boo.  I could spend all day looking at prams, but eventually by husband suggested we look at other things, after all, Boo doesn’t spend much time in her pram anymore so there really is no point in getting another one! And getting so see this giant Tripp Trapp was really cool!

Boo got to try Big Milk from Arla – which is something I have heard a lot about recently. I was really interested in this as Boo is not a fan of cow’s milk but she seemed to like this (and chewing on the straw from the cup too).  We also got a carton as a free sample to try at home, and I have to say I was impressed it tasted nice and Boo has actually drank some of it, which is a big big success.

A stand I was on the look out for was Count the Kicks – and I bought, what I considered to be the best pen ever.  Not only did buying it give money to this wonderful charity, but I get so many comments about it meaning I can spread the message to anyone who remarks on this fab pen! Wonderful.

I even treated myself to some nursing bras from a company I discovered at The Baby Show – Hot Milk – (I will be writing my review of these bras once I have had a bit more chance to wear them) but I will say they look and feel amazing!

Among other things we also bought some funky dribble bibs from Funky Giraffe, the designs are wonderful and the bibs themselves are fantastic quality.  (again I will be writing a review of them soon)

As you can see from the fab photos The Baby Show was very busy, and there were lots and lots of stalls but the set up was great and the aisles were wide enough for all the people and all the prams too.

And also can I really review The Baby Show without a mention of all the fantastic freebies! We did get more and lots of vouchers and money off coupons too which are always handy!

So many of them, and some have proved really useful already like the Munchkin 360 cup which Boo loves! (again review coming soon!) And I really can’t wait to see what Boo makes of the training chopsticks.

All in all a great day and I really can’t wait to go to the next one!
