There are so many wonderful books due out in 2018 and I just can’t wait to read them all. I thought I would share the books I am most looking forward to this spring (and hopefully in a few similar posts later in the year) which will hopefully mean the list is of a manageable length! So, here are my 8 most anticipated books of Spring 2018

March 2018

Pestilence* – Laura Thalassa – 1st March 2018
A brand new series from Laura Thalassa, I read two of her series last year, The Unearthly Series and the first 2 (and a half) books of the Bargainer series (the third book will be out later this year.) I am sure this book is going to be amazing and having already some sneek peaks I am so excited!

To Kill A Kingdom* – Alexandra Christo –  6th March 2018
OK I am cheating slightly with this one as I have already read this one (a lovely eARC via NetGalley) and I’ve written my review (which will go live a week tomorrow) and all I can say is… it is amazing, and I can’t wait to buy a physical copy of this book.

Children of Blood and Bone* – Tomi Adeyemi –  6th March 2018
I really like the sound of this book, from the blurb to everything I have read about, and the lucky people who have read ARC have been saying lots of wonderful things about this book. I reckon it’s going to be amazing and I cannot wait to get a copy!

April 2018

Ace of Shades* – Amanda Foody – 10th April 2018
I have this one on preorder because I just loved Amanda Foody’s book Daughter of the Burning City so much that she has basically become an insta-buy author for me. I am following Amanda Foody on Twitter and this book just sounds incredible!

Grey Sister* – Mark Lawrence –  19th April 2018
I need this one, but then I also need to read Red Sister, because I have not long had my copy and so I thought it would be best to wait and then I could binge read the two books together, I did the same with Nevernight and Godsgrave by Jay Kristoff and it was amazing to read both of the books back to back.

May 2018

A Court of Frost and Starlight* – Sarah J. Maas – 1st May 2018
I can’t wait to return to the world that Sarah J. Maas created in the ACOTAR trilogy (I need to make sure I get a reread of the series in before this one comes out) I only wish it was a full novel rather than a novella, but I am sure it will be amazing and will hopefully help me bridge the gap whilst I wait for more from the world of Pyrthian

The World of All Souls* – Deb Harkness – 8th May 2018
This is the book I am over the moon excited about, I love The All Soul’s Trilogy and I am in a Facebook Discussion Group about the series, and it’s just the most wonderful place to discuss and read and learn more about the amazing world that Deb Harkness has created. I cannot wait to get my hands on this books (and I also can’t wait for Time’s Convert which is out later in the year and is set in the All Soul’s world and focuses on one of my favourite characters – Marcus.

Legendary* – Stephanie Garber – 29th May 2018
I cannot wait for Legendary, I loved Caraval so much (I read it in one go!) and I can’t believe the wait for Legendary is nearly over! I cannot wait to read more about Scarlett and Tella and of course find out more about Legend – and the cover of this book is just oh so beautiful.

Which books are you most looking forward to this year?

Love the sound of any of these books? Why not pin this list for later?
