Boo has been very lucky on the book front this month and has had lots and lots of new books to read! Two fab books that she was lucky enough to get were ‘The Dinosaur that Pooped Daddy and The Dinosaur that Pooped a Rainbow. As you can probably imagine Boo found them both hilarious!

The two books are bright colourful board books which are the prefect size for Boo to hold and look at on her own and they are durable enough to withstand being ‘read’ by a toddler. Boo likes to sit with one of us and read both of the books together, The Dinosaur that Pooped Daddy first and then The Dinosaur that Pooped a Rainbow straight after.
But it’s not just about poo (thank goodness!) *The Dinosaur That Pooped Daddy! sees Danny and his Dino searching for Danny’s daddy who has left a mess everywhere – and we have to find him and count the mess – which is backwards from ten. This is great because not only are there big clear numbers for Boo to recognise and read herself but also she can count each of the messy items on the page to help practice her counting too. I won’t spoil the surprise and tell you where they find Daddy but I will say it’s messy!
In *The Dinosaur That Pooped A Rainbow! Danny and his Dinosaur name all of the colours of the rainbow – and it’s a fun (and hilarious) way to help with learning and practicing the colours of the rainbow.
They are so cute and I think The Dinosaur that Pooped Daddy is a fun book that a toddler could read with their daddy for Father’s Day. With Father’s Day in mind The Dinosaur that Pooped Daddy has some fun activities and a Father’s Day card to make with your child too.
They can be found here: The Dinosaur that Pooped Daddy Father’s Day Card and The Dinosaur that Pooped Daddy Activities Sheets.
