Author Bio: Elizabeth Davies is a paranormal author, whose books have a romantic flavour with more than a hint of suspense. And death. There’s usually death…

Queen, widow, beggar – Lady Caitlyn is all three, and now she can add murderer to the list.
When death and treachery propel her south to Normandy, to seek sanctuary with the exiled Prince Alfred, visions of a woman with ancient eyes travel with her.
Herleva is a woman filled with ambition and greed. A woman who intends to be more than a commoner. A woman who gets what she wants by whatever means possible, even if she has to practice the dark arts to achieve her goals.

Review: I loved Three Bloody Pieces! From the opening line, to the epilogue. I read it in a day, because I could not bring myself to put i down! It’s an incredible historical fantasy with a great mix of fantasy and reality. It was so interesting to see figures from history brought to life.
I really loved the female protagonist Caitlyn, she is determined, brave and deals so well with everything that befalls her. She was really enjoyable to read and I cannot wait to read more books about her. It’s wonderful to find such a unique and engaging heroine.
Three Bloody Pieces has an incredible plot, with twists and turns and early on in the book some politics too. The second half of the book headed more in to the realms of fantasy, but had just as many twists and turns as the first half of the book thanks to Herleva and Arlette.
As the antagonists Herleva and Arlette were wonderfully well written and it was very much a love to hate relationship with them both for me. There was such detail about these two witches and their craft. The second half of the book had a real focus on magic, and I am hoping to read more about it in the later books in the series.
I loved the writing style, Davies creates a wonderful, vivid world filled with a range of vivid and unique characters. I would definitely recommend Three Bloody Pieces to fans of both fantasy and historical fantasy. Three Bloody Pieces is currently available over on Amazon* and at the time of writing this, is on sale for only 99p!
