I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get enough time to read all these books

September

Time’s Convert* – Deborah Harkness

Technically this one is already out, but it’s still on my TBR and it’s one of my most anticipated read of the year! I cannot wait to be back in the All Souls world. As a side note – The TV series also got off to an amazing start last week here in the UK.

The Sisters of the Winter Wood* – Rena Rossner

I have already read this one, as I was lucky enough to get an ARC – but I would definitely recommend it for fans of fairytale retellings with a dark twist. You can read my review of it here.

Strange Grace* – Tessa Gratton

This is another book which sounds incredible, (I am cheating again as this one is already out, but I am yet to read it so it is on this list) I love the cover too – and just read the synopsis, doesn’t it sound incredible!

Vengeful* – Victoria Schwab

I cannot wait for this one, and it’s not long now. I have yet to read the first book though, as I have been saving it so that I can read both of these books together. I know that it’s going to be incredible though as anything Schwab writes I love. (Also, I have read and reviews City of Ghosts which is also by Schwab – you can find that here.)

The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein* – Kiersten White

I love the sound of this one, it sounds incredible dark and enchanting. I love the cover too, and I cannot wait until my copy arrives. I love anything relating to Frankenstein and Mary Shelley so I have high hopes for this one.

October

Muse of Nightmares* – Laini Taylor

I loved Strange the Dreamer so much and I cannot wait to read Muse of Nightmares – The writing was so incredible and poetic. The ending of Strange the Dreamer was such a cliffhanger that I need to know what happens next – and there is not long to wait now!

Grim Lovelies* – Megan Shephard

I read this book a few months ago, you can see my review here. I would definitely recommend this one, the characters are so vivid and unique and I will be rereading once I get a physical copy of the book. It’s perfect for fans of fairy tale retellings and there is a darkness which is really enchanting.

Beneath the Citadel* – Destiny Soria

I was lucky enough to read an eARC of Beneath the Citadel and it was incredible – it’s one of my top reads of the year. A wonderful fantasy tale with an incredible plot and an amazing cast of characters. I loved that there was a character who struggled with mental health issues, and that there even a character who struggled with hypermobile joints too. I will be sharing my review of Beneath the Citadel next week so do pop back and check for that.

November

Girls of Paper and Fire* – Natasha Ngan

I really love the sound of this one, and I cannot wait to read it. The cover is incredible and I fell in love with it the moment I read the synopsis, I will be sharing my thoughts on that as soon as I get my hands on a copy.

Empress of All Seasons* – Emiko Jean

This one sounds amazing, and I am hoping it will appear in one of my book subscription boxes as some of the hints suggest it might!

Which new released are you most looking forward this Autumn? Are any of these books on your TBR?
