This week I have something a bit different to share with you, it’s a review of a children’s book which was originally designed for people who are working with children and families. The book is called Tales of Bushy Lane and it comes with it’s own activity packs.
I am so happy to be involved in the blog tour for not one, but two fantastic children’s books this week. I can’t wait to tell you all about them. I have to say that we have loved Go To Sleep and Sarah’s Shadow and both have featured as bedtime stories fairly often these past few weeks.
I am so excited to be part of the blog tour for London Hat Hunting Mission! It’s a wonderful book that both my daughter and I have thoroughly enjoyed reading, in fact it’s been our bedtime read for 5 nights in the past week!
I thought I would share a review of one of our current favourite books. It’s frequently requested as a bed time story and as an any-time-of-the-day story too. I am a big fan of fairy tales and this modern retelling of Cinderella is perfect for young girls and boys.
It’s no secret that I love books, and as a family we love books. If I am honest I sometimes wonder if we have too many books (mainly when it comes to sorting out the bookshelves). But then I remind myself it is impossible to have too many books! So when I was asked if my daughter and I would like to take a look at James and the Birthday Balloon I agreed.
