As much as I love our current house if I could change one thing about it, it would be the location, so that we could be nearer to the sea. I know that my husband feels the same, as he grew up near the sea when his family lived in Denmark. We don’t get to go to the seaside as often as i would like, as we are in the Midlands. So when we were staying at Bluestone we made sure to visit the beach at Tenby even though it was the end of November.
A couple of weeks ago, Boo recieved a very special letter. It was from Father Christmas and it invited her to visit him at Lapland UK and to help his elves! To say she was excited would be an understatement! This is the first year that Boo has any real idea about what is going on around Christmas, she will be 3 in December, so when I was asked if we would like to visit Lapland UK and then share our experience I said “yes please”!
We spent a wonderful day at the Sealife Centre Birmingham and I thought I would share how we got on, and some of the photos I took. Boo, my husband and I had an amazing time, and Boo was captivated by pretty much everything. It was the perfect way to spend my birthday.
Boo got a Diving Passport when we arrived, and she had to find the stamps and stamp her book for a reward at the end, she was so excited when she saw the next one and she collected every single stamp! She got a medal at the end when we hit the gift shop and was so proud! Read More…
Now this is a post I have been looking forward to writing all year! It’s been on my 2016 bucket list – as my husband and I were lucky enough to get tickets to the Harry Potter Studio Tour for Christmas 2015 – and I must admit it’s taken us a while to arrange to get there but it was more than worth the wait!
It was amazing! My husband and I had a wonderful day there whilst Boo had fun with her grandma. A slightly rocky start with the traffic but we made our tour time slot and entered the magical world of Harry Potter! Read More…
We had such a fantastic day yesterday I just had to share – yesterday we headed up to Sherdley Park in St Helens for a Spooky Welly Walk – oraganised by the Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation. I had not heard of the Spooky Welly Walk until my sister in law mentioned they were going earlier this week and invited us to go.
I am so glad we did – we had a wonderful day out, despite the weather being grey and rainy, though Boo was not impressed that she had to wear her coat which covered her funky witch costume and cape! And even better, we raised some money for a great cause too.
