Boo and I have slowly been doing more and more crafts as she is getting older, and more able to focus for more than 10 seconds (well some of the time!) but one of the things I want to get better at is getting the crafts we do written up and on the blog. So I was really happy when I was asked to be a Bostik blogger!

Valentine's Sweetie Jar - Toddler Crafts - a fun and easy to make with your toddler

The first month’s theme was Valentine’s so Boo and I had a go at making a present for her daddy! We decided to make him a jar we could put sweets and chocolates in.

We used:
A plastic jar with a lid
Pink Felt
Green Foam
Bostik White Glu

I started by measuring the felt and cutting it to the right size, and then using the Bostik White Glu I glued the felt to the jar.

We then left it whilst we sorted the lid.

Cutting the green foam in to a circle to cover the lid I then glued that down, and cut an extra strip which I used to cover the rim of the lid.

I then added the ribbon for detail on to the lid, as I thought it helps add a bit of brighter colour as it looked a little on the pale side.

I then gathered all of the lovely decorations Boo was going to use.

Once the jar was dry I then watched as Boo decorated her masterpiece.

She had so much fun and was really pleased with her finished Valentine’s Sweetie Jar.

I love this as it’s quick and easy to do and it can be used for anything, just change your decorations – Easter, Halloween, Valentine’s and even Christmas.
