It’s probably not surprising to know that my daughter loves unicorns right now. in fact anything with a unicorn on it is a big hit, she even created a rainbow space unicorn for her dream pet. And as soon as I saw it, that the My Fairy Garden – Unicorn Garden was going to be a huge hit.

My Fairy Garden - Unicorn Garden Review
I was lucky enough to win the Unicorn Garden at the raffle at Blog On X – which was amazing. I also won Coral’s Lagoon too and shared my review of that last week. I just want to start by saying that I will be adding some photos of the garden once the grass has grown to the end of this post once the grass has actually grown!

My Fairy Garden - Unicorn Garden - contents

The Unicorn Garden is super simple to set up and I cannot wait to see what it looks like once the grass grows. The kit contains everything you need to make your very own unicorn garden with the exception of the soil. The cutest thing is the little glass bottle filled with glitter – which is just so cute.

My Fairy Garden - Unicorn Garden - wishing well

As well as the grass seeds and the tiny pebbles for the path you also get a wishing well, bunting, a unicorn, a fairy, a toadstool and a little white mouse. It’s all really easy to assemble, the only bit my daughter needed help with was tying the knots on the string for the bunting.

After adding the soil it’s simply the case of arranging everything, we did try to follow the instructions but it would be so easy to deviate from them and still create a wonderful garden. Our unicorn, fairy and mouse are fairly lively and love to move around all over the place.

I am writing this a couple of days after we created our garden and the grass is already sprouting, we just have to make sure that we remember to water it!

My Fairy Garden - Unicorn Garden - our finished garden

The My Fairy Garden – Unicorn Garden is wonderful and I would definitely recommend it. It’s perfect for bringing a little bit of magic indoors. It’s a magical way to teach young children about plants and how to sow and look after them.

I was also asked if I would share my thoughts on My Fairy Garden Unicorn and Friends, which is another wonderful little set in which you can grow mustard seeds with a fairy, a Unicorn foal and a bluebird to watch over you plants. This is a lovely little set which my daughter loves.

Though I must confess our unicorn foal has abandon his post and is usually seen playing in the Unicorn Garden with his mummy and the other fairies. Again the set includes everything you need except the soil, and you only need a tiny bit of that. The mustard seeds sprout really quickly which is great for younger children.

If you like the sound of the Unicorn Garden you can find it and the rest of the gorgeous My Fairy Range on Amazon*.

We received a My Fairy Garden – Unicorn and Friends to review, however all opinions and words are my own, and I chose to include about the Unicorn Garden because we loved it so much.
