There are a few things that I just know are going to be a hit with my daughter – those are anything Space themed (she wants to be the boss of the ISS when she gets older), Unicorns, Spiders and Mermaids. So when I was asked if we would like to take a look at the My Mermaid Lagoon – Storms Charm Shell I said ‘yes please!’
I was also lucky enough to win two raffle prizes at Blog On X one of which, was Coral’s Lagoon from the My Mermaid Lagoon range (the other being a My Fairy Garden – Unicorn Garden.)

I thought I would share our thoughts on the two My Mermaid Lagoon Toys as they work so well together. First let’s take a look at Storm’s Charm Shell. My daughter was instantly attracted to this, she really loved the look of Storm the mermaid, and the key.
We opened the packaging and here’s what we got. A long piece of elastic for making the bracelet, a silver key, a seal charm, beads, a yellow shell complete with seat and of course, Storm the Mermaid.
We made a beautiful bracelet, with both the seal charm and the key one. And then we hid the remaining beads (or pearls!) in the hidden compartment under Storm’s seat.
My daughter thinks this is so cool, because not only can she lock the shell, but she can also hide things in the hidden compartment too.
It’s such a great little toy and my daughter has had lots of fun hiding things in the shell, and locking the shell, and wearing her bracelet. I think this is a fantastic toy and it’s available from from toy shops including Amazon*.
Next up is Coral’s Lagoon, which I am so happy I won at the Blog On X raffle. I just had to share this cute little playset with you.
The box includes everything you need to make your very own lagoon for Coral. The set includes the base and lid of the lagoon, play sand (with glitter in it), Coral the mermaid and a trident, a shell seat for her, a seahorse, some seaweed and some small shells and starfish molds to shape the sand with.
The set up is really quick and simple and my daughter was making shapes in the glittery play sand in no time. I love the fact that the set up is so easy to do. The sand is contain really well in the bottom of the lagoon, and the shell and starfish molds are great for making shapes in the sand.
My daughter has had so much fun changing the way that the lagoon looks and moving everything round. And of course making lots and lots of shapes in the play sand. I think the silver glitter in the playsand is a really nice touch.
My daughter is really pleased that she has two mermaids and both Storm and Coral love visiting each other and playing in the sand.
Coral’s Lagoon is also available at toy shops including Amazon* and I think it’s a total bargain!
I received a My Mermaid Lagoon Storm’s Charm Shell in exchange for an honest review, all opinions and words are my own. I choose to include My Mermaid Lagoon – Coral’s Lagoon, which I won at the Blog On X raffle, because we love it so much.
